Has anyone ordered the yellow, mini dome bator with 4 fertile quail hatching eggs? If so, what breed were the quail eggs that were given.

ETA- Does anyone know what hatchery the eggs come from?

Thanks!

Havent ordered the incubator or used one of t hose. But I wouldnt buy it if I were you. You'd have a hard time keeping temp and humidity in a small cheap bator. Probably a waste of your money and time.

I have heard mixed opinions, but I was just curious . Thank you for you comment though

Bobwhite eggs. The problem with the bator is it does not have the capacity (there's very little air, water, egg mass, etc.. in it) to hold temp. There's nothing there holding heat. Then it is made of rather thin materials. That means it will only work if placed in a room where the temp does not fluctuate at all and already has a fairly high humidity. Even if you accomplish that and the eggs manage to hatch several people have had the chicks die do to various design flaws. It can work... the odds are just so low as to make it pretty much worthless. Unless you've got unlimited eggs to put it in the thing until you finally get enough chicks you are just going to spend more buying eggs to hatch than you would getting one of the basic styrofoam bators.
