I have two, about, 16 week old golden buffs who I think must be responsible for this tiny egg, but their waddles just start turning red and their combs are barley pink . Does this sound right to people? It wasn't in the laying box where all the other hens lay. I just started raising a back yard flock last year and know the first eggs are small and often round, but never had anything like this. could this one of the other hens who are about twenty months old? thx in advance for your thoughts....
