Shetland Geese are small.
Very few in the U.S. so they could be inbred.

Josh Snyder in Canada is the one working on mini geese, he also has mini runners. The shetland geese are small and I am sure there are other small breeds.

This thread really interests me. I have few acerage and I have been looking for mini everything poultry or waterfowl so I can have all of the birds on my wish list lol.

Is there mini turkeys?

Yes there are mini turkeys, there are beltsville small whites and midget whites.

Also I was on spectrumranch.net and saw that they even have mini llamas so you could have mini everything.

How come holderreads only sells grown up mini geese? and as to that last post, I totally want a mini llama.

Dave Holderread is a very savvy business man! He offers adults first, so he can reduce his flock and test the market. If there is a demand, then he can concentrate on that breed, and will offer juveniles of his best breeding when he can assure that he can meet the demand.

Holderread is smart that makes sense. I will have to look into this further and also the mini turkeys

Yeah, I like the mini stuff too! I have miniature goats, had miniature donkeys, will have them again. Mini geese sound cool, definitely going to check that out! We are moving sometime this summer/fall so once we are settled I think I will order me a trio!!
