Ordered my 50 feet of hardware cloth off Amazon (got $20 off for trading in a game, shweet). Got my cardboard chick raising mansion done. Got a heat lamp... Probably about a month until TSC starts selling chicks. NO PRESSURE! Waiting for my tax moneys to come back so I can start building the coop. We've got a fair bit of scrap wood from redoing the bathroom, so we're saving a few bucks there.

I'm already making a list of chickie names. I'll just have to pick the right ones out the list, based on personality, I'm only getting 6! They're all Star Trek based, because we're awesome like that (only issue with that is.. I want the coop to look futuristic now.. but we're going with farm-style, as not to frighten the neighbors).
