Hi,
How can i tell what sex my applyard ducks are?
one has a dark patch of fur above its beak does this mean it is a boy?

They are around 9-10 weeks old

My duck of the same breed got his quack around then. Males have a rasp, kind of squishy quack and females have the well known "QUACK QUACK". As of now you can't get a real answer with just their feathers. You might have to wait for their quacks.

at 9 -10 weeks old the female should definetly have matures voices and the boys should be noticeable at the very least. they should have begun to molt just look at the differences.

One of them has a big quack and is the smallest and youngest.She all so has a feather on her head that she has always had and it doesn't seem like it is coming off!
