minimum order crisis

i am ordering runnerduck from mcmurray hatchery and i only need 6 but the mimimum is 10 will they fill in the order

You can call MMH and see what they'll put in if you only order 6. It may not be ducks that you want. I'd go ahead and place an order for 10 of the kind you really want. It's always a good idea to have a few extra, just in case something happens to a few of them. Let's hope not! Then if they all survive to adulthood, you can sell the extras.

Otherwise, see if someone near to you would like to split the order with you and help you fill your minimum number. Check the Where Are You section to see if there are any BYCers close to you who want to add more ducks to their lives.
