Hello all, looked out at the coop yesterday and saw my girls running a little strange, then saw a small dark brown thing chasing them, got the 22, missed it 3 times..lol.
My husband laughed his butt off at that, hey its hard hitting a small very fast object! Then let my dog out after it she did the snap shake stun thing, I finished it off with a rake handle, I am making fingerless gloves out of it

Chickens all seem fine a bit scared to come out of the coop but otherwise I got there in time, we live near a huge game reserve so we get all kinds of fun things.. By the way I broke my ankle last week had to chase it around on one foot.lol.
I am very relieved I got it in time. I think I'll do some preemptive
trapping around the property now, this one was very young and not very bright.
