Minorca thread!

I found a breeder directory for breeders in Ireland:
http://www.irishfowl.com/irish-poultry-breeders.php?q=minorc&name=Minorca
I searched by breed and that's the list that comes up when you click on Minorca

The Poultry Club of Great Britain: http://www.poultryclub.org/breed-gallery/page/category/chickens/
has breed-specific clubs: http://www.poultryclub.org/poultry/breed-clubs/
Here's the link for just the Minorca club, but there's a little more info on the breed clubs page, the name and a little contact info for the leader of the club, etc.: http://www.poultryclub.org/minorcaclub/

Here's the most promising one I've found so far: http://www.poultryshowcentral.com/Minorcas.html

I hope these help.  I have school work I have to get started on.  LMK if you come up with anything, okay?
Wow!!! Thanks a mil. I found most of them outside of the states as well.

Dear Minorca people,
Could you please look at my thread in injuries again and tell me if you have seen something like that on Minorca or any other large earlobes and what it is (and most importantly, what to do?) Some of the hens of his breed have the same thing going on but in much smaller quantities, just a spot or two and they are not expanding.

Please feel free to comment right on the thread if you want, or here, I'll be checking both.

No idea what we have done wrong to our Minorca again :( Hating my ignorance.

Sand Hill Preservation in Iowa has White Minorca. That is where I attained my original stock. These are large birds that are docile and lay extra large to jumbo white eggs. Interestingly, I found them to keep laying well past their first season, and don't seem to ever have any health ailments. I highly recommend them.

They lay very well. I hatched out 3 batches of chicks this year. All eggs were fertile, and I am fortunate to have a good hatch rate despite having an inexpensive incubator. I have culled aggressively since I received my first batch from Sand Hill. I wish I could find some new blood, but this is difficult to do, so I am going to cross in some Black Minorca next year with my roosters and see what I get from that.
