Miracle- Hello! guinea/chicken crossbreed

Oh, I'm so glad I didn't know about Miracle's Night Out! I'd have been fretting all night. Whew! Don't scare us like that again, little bird. You're too unique and special.

oh my my my!!!! getting back late on this but was holding my breath till i knew all was well.. STINKER! dont do this to us again.. So glad it all worked out... WHEW!

I'm glad Miracle is safe and sound again. I also have an opinion on her gender for what it's worth. I think girl based upon those lovely, SKINNY, legs that she displayed in her last photo op. Most male chickens and and the peacocks I've known have all had fairly thick legs. We'll see if she lays eggs.

Hi from Miracle,

What an exciting week I have had. The sun has been shining and we have been exploring. We used to stay close to the barn and the coop all the time but this week we decided to look around the house where the people live. We had to be very careful because Mena doesn't like for us to get in her flower beds or her porches. The veranda looked like a great place to start. Little Bit and Rascal were a little bit scared to go up the steps so I had to make them come with me. Little Bit said "No Miracle. What if Mena sees us? She might chase us away with her big stick." I said " It's OK, Little Bit. She never hits anyone with that stick. She only chases the chickens with it."

We all went up on the veranda to look around. I went over to the window to peek inside the people house to see what was in there. I saw Mena doing something with pieces of cloth.

Later she came outside with clothes that she made for the golden girls. Sweetie didn't want to wear hers and I heard Mena tell her that it would help her keep her feathers pretty. It was a saddle. Now all the golden girls have different colored saddles. They all fussed and fluffed their feathers at first but now they don't mind wearing them. All except for Chicken Chicken, who takes hers off every night before she goes to roost. What a silly girl.

Goodbye!
