I just started following this thread on Friday. Even though it has only been a few days, I have already become attached to Miracle.

I am sorry for your loss, but be assured that you gave Miracle the best life she could have during this short time. She is now running around without getting worn out and is with her sibling and her friends that have been waiting for her at the rainbow bridge. You were a good mama to her. Thank you for sharing her life with us.

Mena, first of all my condolences. I've been following this thread for a long time. Just last night I was telling a friend about Miracle and all the people who were hanging onto your every word and waiting for each new installment. I knew when this day came it would cause a lot of heartache, but Miracle will live on in our hearts. Please write a book...This story needs to get out to the world - a story about accepting differences - of having fun, but still with the touches of sadness, just as life really is. Think of the joy this story could bring to children just trying to make their way in this world with all the obstacles they have to overcome. You've got the hard part already done in these journals and pictures, too.

I'm so sad to hear that she died, but it makes me smile to think of her little animal spirit finally getting to play around in the flower garden...lol...with no worries of ever being chased out again.
