Miracle- Hello! guinea/chicken crossbreed

i havent heard about this sad news until now. Miracle's life was truly a miracle. her life was such an exciting adventure, and although her death was sad it was also a miracle that it wasnt violent and that you were there at the time. at least she lived to 7 months, but im sure we all were hoping for longer. it must be nice for her to finally be able to permanetly stay near the garden.

Oh, yes! Miracle loved my purple wave petunias. They are small in this picture of her but they have grown to spill over the sides now. I caught her in it again just a week ago.

Here is a picture of the little garden spot where we placed her. It was smaller but we enlarged it a little to circle her. The plants will have to fill in the bare spots. There was a huge cedar tree there that had to be cut and the roots will be there a long time. I wanted to leave the stump and plant a little garden around it. I'll put something there that says "Miracle's Garden".

thank you we will go to the store this weekend and pick some up we have some lion planters I think we will use for them since Miracle had the heart of a lion, since she gave the stinky eye to the cat, I will post some pictures as soon as we get them planted its cool she liked the purple flowers since that is my favorite color. God bless and keep us update, and take care of your self during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Miracle. I have followed your stories from the beginning, when we weren't even sure what she was!

She turned into a beautiful bird, and it is heartbreaking to hear that she died. I am glad that she was with you, though, and not all alone, or killed by a predator. She was such a special bird and I wanted to thank you for sharing her stories and especially the pictures!

I hope that you will continue to give us updates on Miracle's friends and her garden. It is beautiful.

You have read my mind - sort of anyway. Like you say, it does make people feel better sometimes to do a last something for someone who passes that they care about. I'm going to ask my son to laser cut a sign for Miracle's Garden so I won't need a statue. If anyone wants to do something they can send me a seed to plant in the garden. It is a small garden but it can be enlarged if needed. I have some feathers from Miracle that I am willing to share as far as they will go. I'm sure I will find feathers for a long time that belonged to Miracle. There are no birds here with her coloring so they are easy to pick out. If you include a self addressed stamped envelope I'll send you a feather (as the supply lasts). PM me if you want.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words. This is a great forum with wonderful people!

Many blessings,
Mena
