Miracle- Hello! guinea/chicken crossbreed

How cool!

My black star has a guinea boyfirend and actually disappeared for a month. I thought she was eaten by something since they are not suppose to go broody, but then she showed up with chicks. No mixes for us though.

Miracle is sooo cool and HOOOGE!

It's more friendly, like a chicken, and seems to enjoy being talked to and handled. Not
at all like the other two in personality. It's cool to observe the differences in them.

You are so lucky!!! (so jealous...)

Such a neat post!! I'm jealous too! I've been watching your little guy grow and he certainly is dwarfing his brothers/sisters! Congrats and keep us updated!!!

is it known for sure that a guinnea / chook cross can not breed? are they all mules like you say? I would love a pokadoted chook!!!

Happy Birthday Miracle!

5 weeks old today! Still doing well - energetic - growing. I take them outside on nice days and put them in a pen in the grass. The older flock visits them and they get so excited. It won't be long before I can put them in a nursery cage inside the coop to train them. They are probably ready now but I'm not.

Don't want anything to happen to Miracle since he/she is kind of special.

Thanks to everyone watching this thread. I'll try to post weekly pictures so you can watch Miracle grow with me.
