Mirror In Chick Brooder- OMG! Pictures!

This morning I added a mirror to the box the chicks are in, since some recommended it. I almost died laughing! The brave, curious Pru (black) raced up first, then Sarah (gold), then little Rosie tried to squeeze in...

I actually had to take it out as they got really stimulated! Another round later maybe, or smaller mirror...

Yes, it was hysterical! It was like giving a kid too much sugar though...

Awww. They're cute! We used a mirror once when our BO pullet, Karen, had an injury and had to be isolated. She sang and strutted in front of the mirror. All of the poop was in front of the mirror. It was hilarious. We had a hard time watching her, because she stopped what she was doing when she saw us. My avatar is a pic of Karen with her mirror.

With Karen, great idea if you had to isolate them. I know parakeets, etc., usually have a small mirror in their cage...
