I have a new layer! I'm not sure which one, I have several EE cross girls, 3 that are for sure looking more mature.
I have another layer with the exact same shade of egg! My whoops rooster, father of the pullet, was purchased at the same time as the hen on the left, and the mother of the pullet would be a Black Astraulorp that lays a very light tinted egg.

The breeds include Orpingtons, Wyandottes, silkies, Ameraucanas, and one wee little cochin bantam (please be a pullet!).

Yes! I'm super happy! I had another first egg laid this morning, in the run, in the mudit's a tiny bit more green than the other one.

do I need them? No, but hubby likes funky chickens and therefore likes these, and, I've yet to have a white egg layer.Oh lord. Kelly's on it.I am waiting in anticipation
