This is our first foray into chickens. The local school hatched eggs in science class, and my son was selected to bring them home. These were sold to the school as Rhode Island Reds, based on all other photos I've viewed I disagree. I've looked at more breeds than I ever imagined existed, gained a ton of knowledge related to their care... but still have no clue exactly what breed we've got here.
