And thanks Hennys. Miss Floppy had the prettiest feathers of my four girls when I gave them the America's Next Top Hen scrutiny Monday afternoon. She's a cutie. Wish I could learn how to hold them better. Doesn't she look like she's being tortured?

Not too bad!!! Cup your right hand under her breast bone and grab hold of each ankle between your first and second finger and your pinkie and the next one. Easy peasy, she can flap but not go anywhere!!! and you can hold her steady that way and show her off!

I am going to try and do that at our city's commissioners meeting. If people can see for themselves just how great these animals are, then they would become much more accepted. Love the picture of you both! Keep up the great work too!

B.H, some people said that they never even thought about chickens much before, but seeing (and hearing their quiet voice) up close made them very much appreciative of the individuals that they are, not just smelly livestock.
