That brown slop, when combined with rice, forms a complete protein. And is completely delicious!

I honestly think I could live on a diet of "that brown slop" and nothing else. One of my hands down favorite foods!!!

I haven't in a LONG time but I was looking at the stuff to make them recently thinking I need to.

My grandfather lived in Mexico for many years and I was born loving the stuff!!! LOL

My aunt married a Mexican man so every dinner at their house is homemade, authentic Mexican food. I LOVE MEALS THERE!
