Daycare Mom and CATRAY44 set my brain racing with dreams of cookies.
Chocolate Bar Cookies with Peanut Butter Chips
1/2 C. butter
3/4 C. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 C. flour
1/4 C. cocoa
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1 C. peanut butter chips
Preheat oven to 350*. Butter 8x8 or 9x9 baking pan.
In medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together.
Mix remaining dry ingredients in bowl. Add to wet ingredients one third at a time. Mix well. Stir in peanut butter chips.
Press into buttered 8x8 or 9x9 square pan and bake at 350°F for 22-25 minutes.
Let cool completely. Cut into 16 squares.
(Or just put four scoops of vanilla ice cream on top and eat it all!
