If it would make you feel better to take her in there likely isn't any harm in doing so. I agree with Isaac that it probably isn't necessary, but sometimes peace of mind is worth a few hundred dollars. I love my ducks very much, too, and I take all three of them for yearly check-ups and get blood work and fecals done just for peace of mind.
