Got home from work tonight, and the BLR kids coop was empty. Ok, that is weird, but once or twice a while back, I found them at the back door of the big girls coop. So, I look there- no chickens. Now, it's really weird. I have looked all over the yard with the little crappy flashlight I have, calling for them. No response. Went into the neighbors yards calling them- nothing. I can't find them anywhere. I have no idea where they are.
I guess the only good thing is the wind has died down, and it is a tad bit warmer than it has been all week (26 degrees), although it is supposed to snow a little tonight. I sure hope they are huddled together somewhere warm, and when I go out in the morning, my little beggar girl comes running. ( The one chicken learned that treats come from in the house, and lately she comes running to the door, trying to get in)
*sigh* I really wish I could find them
