Missing birds no sign of struggle

I have a major problem. My x-rocks are being attacked, I had 10 birds and during feeding the other afternoon I found a wing from a single bird in the middle of the run, no blood no feathers no tracks like she just vanished. I did a head count and found a total of 3 missing (with no signs of any struggle). Went to check again this morning and again a single wing lying in the middle of the run, no blood no feathers any place a very clean cut. I had a hawk problem a while back and it looked like a pillow exploded, this has nothing. The fence is good no hole or loose area. I even set traps for the predator and no luck. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear that.

From what I hear, signs like these are usually from a feral cat, bobcat, or fox. Weasels and mink tend to try to kill all the birds, dogs just have fun, raccoons and skunks and opossums only eat part of the prey or at least leave most of the carcass. Cats and foxes both take their prey, one at a time, and then return for more.

Have to be something big enough to carry it away...

How is it getting in the coop?

Any holes or digging?

Could be any of the usual suspects, you need to figure it out fast or you won't have any birds left

No sings of holes and the coop door is still latched. I moved the trap right in front of the coop door tonight. I'm going to put a game cam out also. No problem at all with the layer hens they have separate runs but the coops are just feet from each other... Makes me sick to think this could be a human.
