So, last Friday I noticed my favorite chicken Chip, a small bantam was laying on eggs. So I took them without thinking and later that day she has dissapeared. Later that same night i saw her fly from a tree and followed her but never ended up finding her. She's a small Brown bantam and she's hard to see when she's out. Just worried at night because there are many predators around, and knock on wood, haven't gotten an attack in over a year. I just want to figure out where she may be, and or if she's okay to be alone.

So she's been missing two days or so, I hate to say it but that doesn't sound good:(. Although my daughter had a Silkie rooster show up in her shed and hang out there for a couple days before moving on/going back home. Are your chooks trained/accustomed to coming back to the coop at the end of the day? I hope she turns up and all is well:fl.

Yah, they arent free range, they have a large fenced area, and she's able to jump out

No offense, but what breed is it? Brown isn't a breed (or even a variety). It's a color.
All I really know is that she's a bantam with alot of personality, she would normally come right to me and cuddle in my lap

Still missing, unfortunately, I have given up faith in her returning unless someone can reassure me that she is capable of hiding for 21 days to have babies.
