First of all, I’m a dumb-a because I forgot to shut the door to my run last night. This morning I was down 4 chickens about 3 months old and 3 about a month and a half old. There were no feathers or sign of a fight. These chickens tend to sleep in the run rather than the coop. We have been seeing a fox lately that has killed some Guineas, but there were feathers everywhere. Any ideas on what it could have been?

If you left the door to the run open it is most likely a fox. Same thing happened to my friend and they lost an entire flock in one night. Making them sleep in the coop and closing the pop door will make them less likely to get eaten, because even if something gets in the run it can't get to the birds in the coop. I'm so sorry about your birds! :hugs
