missing egg from under a broody hen

hello i have a broody silkie sitting on 7 eggsyesterday i looked under her there was still seven eggs then i looked undder her today only 6 eggs ahhhh no shell no yolk no nothing no sigh of anything all the other eggs are allrigth hopefully they will stay that way i tougth maybe it was infertile and she pulled it out of the nest and eat it its only day 10 can a hen sense if its infertile of not

. there i9s no snakes racoons or any big preditor like that that would eat the eggs theres rats but i reallly doubt she would leave a rat into her nest by the way i live in ireland so vary little preditors she is in a nest by herself a small little coop so she would see if a rat came in i new her since she was a chick and she rearly leaves me at the nest without going mad and this is her secound time hatching
 
We have issues with rats stealing eggs out from under turkeys and chickens here, so it does happen. Sometimes rodents nest back behind a sitting hen where there is warmth. If you notice another go missing I would consider it a possibility. Good luck. :)
 
hahaha but i dont understand how the egg just vanished i dont think it was a rat becouse there has been no hole dug under the chicken coop like in the winter when there was little food the rats would dig under to look for food but no hole.
