Missing Feathers Ever Going To Come Back

i have a couple of hens who lost their back feathers while i still had a rooster. i assumed they would grow back, but still are missing after several months. will there be a fall molt or something that will allow them to grow back?

There should be a molt coming,I rescued twenty five hens that were keep along with a rooster in a 12x12 cage.Most of them didn't have feathers hardly at all ,that's been two months ago and they are starting to get the little quills back in and starting to feather.Just give it time they will come back.

how many hens does a caged rooster need to keep this from being a problem? my rooster only had 5 hens and he was in the process of killing one that wouldn't stand still, when i rescued her and got rid of him.
