Missing feathers

I have a couple of girls that are a year old and they are losing their feathers from the chest down. I have dusted them. My Cinnamon Queen is okay. They don't seem to be sitting on the nest for an extreme amount of time. They go out and run around outside, in fact they get upset if its too cold to go out. Thank goodness I haven't had many of those days. My question is this normal? I got chickens at first because I didn't want to have to buy eggs. Now they're my babies.

Do you have any pictures of the feather loss? Could they be molting? Do you see any pin feathers coming in, or broken off feathers?What did you dust them with?
