Missing feathers

I'm new at having chickens. In fact these are my first ones. I have 2 australorp 5 - months old and 2 buff org, about 4 months old. Tonight I noticed that one of my buff's is missing feather on the back of it's neck starting just below the base of the head. My chickens have always gotten along fine. I have never seen them fighting. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Back of neck sounds like feather pulling by someone in flock or sticking head thru a fence?
Mine also usually get along fine, but I have seen them pull another "buddy" out of a nest box by pecking on the back of neck, or pull someone off an outdoor roost by their tail.
