Missing hen emerged from the hay with peeps...what now?

I got one of my OEBG hen's up about a couple of months ago.She had hatched out several chicks underneath corn crib.I had to brood her last hatched chick it was basicly left for dead. It's doing great.I moved her to horse stall with babies along with another hen that had been sitting in there around same time.We have hawks and fox and coyote and didnt want to chance the babie's.They got along great and started sharing caring for the chicks.I had a buyer buy both hens and the babies a couple week's ago.

. If you have never had predator problems the mama's will keep them just fine. Both the girls had started getting these out and foraging around a bit they were SOOO cute. My oldest silkie brooded and raised 7 on her own this year ( and she is sitting again)and we did lose a couple to hawks'.So keep that in mind if they are in an unproctected free range area.

You do realize this thread is from February, don't you? Those chicks might have chicks of their own by now.
