Missing Wooster 4/13 Good news!!! Wounded but home!!!

Wow! I'm so glad you found the little guy.

It almost had to be something grabbed him and dropped him. Owl? Hawk? Or could it even be some other 4-legged predator that dropped him?

Anyway you look at it - I would imagine this will stay with him and he'll always be very wary. But better wary I say!

Congrats on getting him back.

Thank you all, as late in the day as it was I'm almost positive it would have been an owl, but we do have a lot of hawks out grabbing spring rabbit babies right now.

Praise the LORD!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOO happy he is home!! I sure hope he got a good sized spur into whatever grabbed him. It just does the heart good to hear this news!!

Wooster and Nugget went to bed EARLY tonight, they were standing by the rabbit pen's gate at 5. I sat in my front window for awhile watching to see if anything showed up that was hunting my babies.
At about 6:30 a large owl showed up on one of the fence posts on the East side of my property, part of it that I use for my garden. I moved out onto the porch and sat in a chair watching Mr. Owl, he moved to corner of the room right over the last place I saw Wooster last night and just sat there watching the yard. After about 45 minutes he flew away, without Wooster! I don't have proof, but I'm almost positive that this owl is what happened to Woo last night. Any suggestions on how to discourage the owl WITHOUT harming it?

Yay! Good news. I'd be very cautious with that owl. I lost a young cat to one.
