Mission Fowl

A Scottish friend of mine grew up in India due to his father working with the government there to improve their chicken flock to make them stronger, and more duel purpose. He actually received a medal for his work there. Just think of the millions of people he probably helped down the road....

Saladin, Cuda, Matt,

I really enjoyed reading through this thread. I have talked with you guys about all sorts of things, but I seriously learn something new every time. Thank you all for sharing your knowlege and beliefs, it really does make a huge difference. If it wasn't for those of you who are willing to lend a guiding hand, others of us would be truly lost.

Transporting hatching eggs to various third world countries slowed down a few years back with the "bird flu" scare. However, it has never been very difficult like it is getting eggs into the States.

We always fixed up briefcases with foam and loaded in our eggs: always as carry-ons. On one particular trip we carried in over 500 hatching eggs. The only comment I ever had was in LA when one of the security guards looked at me and said, "You folks must sure like eggs." I just smiled and nodded. saladin
