Missouri Posters! Wanting one female duckling/duck

Right now our male/female ratio needs help! We have two drakes and only one hen, and dont want to part with either of our boys. So far no fighting at all, but I am wanting to add another hen to our flock to help a bit!

Am open to all breeds, but I love Cayugas and runners. Would like an older duckling 5 weeks and up or even an adult. Was hoping some of you Missouri posters may have some, or know someone who does.

I just got a (hopefully) female runner from Guest House Hens between Lawrence and Tonganoxie on 32, off the turnpike. I asked what happens if she turns out to be a he and the lady said "I suppose you just bring him back." They seemed like good folks. Their Craigslist ad says they currently have 4 fawn runners and 2 Khaki Campbells at 6 weeks, and 5 assorted crested at 1 week. Have fun picking a girl!

Lawrence area is not terrible, would be nice to find one closer, I found Cayuga babies in Paola, but wow, the drive!

I have looked on Cl both in my area and in Lawrence area. I also have my own WTB ad out too.

Problem is I can never find SEXED ducklings. I would even take an adult duck if I could find one. I am not picky on breed, although I would really love a Cayuga or runner. So far no luck. Have been trying to get a hold of one of the posters but they never called back to tell me if they had females. The ducks were 5 weeks old, so she should have been able to tell by now if there were any honkers.

I even went to an animal swap meet, but no sexed ducklings and no one old enough to tell unless I vent sexed and I have no experience there and will not risk hurting one. I just keep being patient and hoping one will come along!
