Missourians are you out there?

I'm over in Crocker,MO near Ft. Leonard Wood. I grew up in St. Louis county and found myself in the country life after the army. We got some chickens at the beginning of the summer. FIrst we were given to black Polish that were supposed to be hens but were roos. So we had to find them new homes as we were living in a neighborhood and didn't want to upset the angers.

We now have four chickens. Two Salmon Favorelles and two easter eggers. The Favorelles are older and one I think might be really old(she hasn't laid an egg and is lazy with no other signs of disease or pests). The easter eggers were a couple of months old when we got those. Now they are big and about to lay I hope.

We are in the process of moving to our dream home. We hope to get many more chickens after we build a big new coop. One day I hope to build an egg mobile as well.

I can't wait to get to know you all and talk about something that is very fun.
