I actually have a really hard time with those 2. I know this and tend to just change the word or change the sentence around.

This isn’t a spelling mistake, but it’s a grammar mistake and it REALLY GETS ON MY NERVES.

I hate when people use ellipsis when they should use commas or periods. It makes it look like it’s a really long story and you just cut half of it out.
Example on what NOT to do:
“ I love my house... but if need be I would cull it.’
Another example on what NOT to do:
“ Grass is green... but in the winter it turns a weird shade of purple.”
“ I like pineapple... I also like normal apples.”

But!!!!!!!! It emphasizes the start of a sentence! Of which....... I’m totally guilty of doing.
