Misspelling

I try not to be too critical of spelling. Yes it is important but perhaps the person made a simple mistake, didn't realize spell check changed their word, lack the schooling, or English is not their first language. I prefer sending a direct message so as not to embarrass the writer.
I tutored adults learning or improving their English skills for years. It is a tough language as demonstrated by coop, coup, coupe. Try explaining that to someone.
All languages have their rules. Learning a second language helps build empathy. A sense of humour is essential as long as you are trying. For example, if you go to a country where the predominate language is French, make sure you know the difference between:
"J'ai chaud" and "Je suis chaud" . One means I'm hot as in I'm sweating from the heat. The other means I'm hot as in .... well you figure it out. ;)
