I have to admit to not having read every page of this thread yet (apologies if this is a repeat), but one misspelling that really sticks in my craw is "woah". No, it's "whoa". Not in the dictionary = slang.

One of my friends growing up would always spell ugh as "uhg" and it drove me crazy.

Okay. I'll admit "ect." kind of sets my teeth on edge. It's a contraction of two Latin words, "et," meaning "and," and "cetera," meaning (roughly) "so forth." Hence, "etc."

And furthermore, there is NO SUCH WORD as "mentee." If you mentor someone, he or she is your PROTEGÉ. Thank you.
