following Miss Prissys instuctions and it works GREAT, we have had 3 hatches in ours, AND....
right now I just checked in on the GopherBator.....and some of the eggs sent from Miss Prissy are rock n rolling right now!!!! We might have a pip in a little bit.
DH said he has a feeling this will be a GREAT HATCH!!!

Now that is funny. I have all the parts, building it this weekend. Having it ready for some BBS Orpingtons.

I made a prissy-bator and it worked fabulously!! I did spring for a wafer thermostat...the ones they use in incubators. The temps were right on the whole time. The thing about homemade incubators is having enough ventelation. I used corks from a couple wine bottles I had to use up

and plugged up the holes with them when I needed higher humidity for hatching...but other than that, I didn't have to mess with it. Oh! The PC fan was awesome too! got it online for $2.

You could always use the autoclave at work.

Mahonri, i have been eyeing one of those sportsmans now myself!!! I had no idea what it was till just a few days ago......I would LOVE to have one of those, but I think that might just be to much for the rest of the family to swallow.
