Missy’s feathery flock

So it’s decided. Will keep him because he’s my favorite. Originally his name was queen but will rename him. This means we will for sure have two roosters.

Two cockerel silkies and one pullet?
The female is going to be Lucy and I think maybe a Charlie.
Can anyone explain why the cockerel literally bites the other chickens and will not let go?

It happened! One of my hens started laying!!! The eggs are small? And I’ve gotten two the first day, one the next and one today! She completely ignores the nesting boxes though and has seemed to make a nest of her own in the little spot where you see the two eggs. Any suggestions? I put ping pong balls in there and other various egg shape items.
