I still can't figure out what these chickens are.
Can you help?

The chicken that is standing up. I'm thinking it's a hen, but what kind?

The chick on the left is what she (he?) looked like when little.

The chick on the right has been very slow in feathering. It still does not have any tail feathers (you can see it's rump to the right of the standing chicken in the picture on the roost). I think he might be a roo, but his comb is not darker or bigger than the other one. He looked like a dinosaur without feathers while grown, and his wing feathers are darker than the one I think is a hen.
Here's a picture so you can see the feather coloring.

The hen on the left is the same as the one in the first picture.

Speckled Sussex? Cool. So you think just the one with the darker coloring is roo? Or both of them?

They are 11 wks old now and I have not heard either from this pair crow. I've already have 2 roo's and I suspect a third, and now this one a possible one. Is 4 roos too many for 16 hens?

I'd say the one standing in the top pic is a hen. Her comb and wattles are slightly larger than the SS pullets I have that are about the same age, a week or two younger.

The back view of the other one looks like rooster wings to me. Look at the hackle feathers( at the base of the neck) compared to the "hen". Can you see the diffference?

I don't think four roosters with sixteen hens is too many, but I wouldn't want any more than that.

You're welcome.
