Mite-dusted hens

I dusted my hens Thursday.

I was informed that the dust would affect the eggs momentarily.

True? If so how long do I wait before resuming the collecting of eggs for consumption? Thanks.

I've never noticed any problems with the eggs myself. I dust about every 3 months.

thats what i was gonna say? we use seven dust here and no problems at all ever in many many yrs of use
