Mite tags?

Has anyone ever used mite tags? how do you feel about them vs. other types of treatment and prevention?

Depending on the numbers you have, they may or may not be effective. Say you have 250 chickens; it would be more practical and less expensive to do a mite tag on each rooster, and save the money for treating the hens. Say you have 20 chickens. It may be easier to dust them with Sevin, or poultry dust twice a year.

It really is a toss up, I don't do it for mine, had some lice once, and dusted twice. No more lice at the Whitehouse!
