Mite treatment, Ivomec??

We have had a BAD case of mites I have dusted some of the birds but it is so much work and a pain since I have a baby and need to shower before I pick him up after etc.. I had heard about dosing with Ivomec? I have Normectin Cattle pour on. Has anyone used this before? We have some standard sized birds and also lots of banties and small frizzle cochins etc so I really want to be careful on dosing amounts etc. On a side note we are being bitten in the house now that I have moved the birds away from the main mited area.. UGH!!

Ivomec works wonderfully and quickly for mites. You also have to clean out the coop, replace the bedding and dust the coop with Sevin to prevent re-infestation.

With the pour-on you have, 1 drop for small, 2 for bigger chickens (part the feathers just below the neck - drop onto skin) repeated after 5-7 days will get rid of the problem.
