Definitive treatment for depluming mites?

Did you treat the coop?? I had to clean mine completely out and spray it
I’m going to have to do it a couple more times. I’ll tag you in my post. There is good info there from the replies I received. My thread is titled Mites.
I did treat my coop. it looks like chest feathers are coming back in and I'm getting back to 5 eggs again. i went down to 4 eggs than 3 eggs. I was new to chickens i bought these at a swap. they were not in the best shape. please keep me posted. I bought some girls from fleet farm they are now almost 3 months and I fear they may contracted respiratory, some of thier voices are raspy so I just ordered tiagaurd from Amazon. I'm getting overwhelmed 😆 about to cull all in a month. I work 50 hours a week and it's alot of work. share any info you have and good luck!

What did you treat your coop with? And did you just do the 1 dose of ivermectin and it got rid of your mites? Or did you follow up with more doses somehow? I think I'm dealing with the same thing, even decreased eggs, and I've so far put 1 dose of ivermectin on the back of necks.

I could have written this post. I have been going crazy trying to help my girls but they seem to be looking worse. I have tried permethrin dusting twice, ivermectin three times and now I am looking into Elector PSP from the Chicken Chick. Was it effective for you? Have your girls improved?
I'm suffering with the same

My girls are missing feathers with bald spots and have mangled feathers and have poopy butts. I’m 99% sure it’s from depluming mites. I’ve been doing some research on how to treat this issue. And no one seems to suggest what an effective treatment solution would be and then followed up on what the results were and if they were able to eliminate the issue. I’ve tried ivermectin pour on and that’s really it, but still have issue. The full size Elector PSP is just too expensive for me right now so I have a 9ml bottle I bought from the chicken chick but haven’t used it yet. Is permethrin more effective? Dusting or spraying? I don’t want to keep cycling through ineffective treatments that don’t work and waste money. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I'm having same issues except for poopy butts. bald backs, butts, necks feather shaffs with not feathering on wings and tails. Some were worse than others. Some hardly effected. Treated all my 28 chickens on July 22ond and again on August 5th. Treated with 6-8 drops of Pour On Ivermectin. Hens got 6 drops, Roosters got 8. They slowing got better, but now its the end of September and some are really bad again! I also cleaned out the coop and run. And sprayed the run and coop with pymethren. What am I suppose to DO TO GET RID OF THIS!
