My chicks are just 6 weeks old and have been in the coop for about 2 weeks. Its a new coop, never had birds in it. I went to the coop last night and one of my friendly Buffs jumped into my hand. I rubbed her some and headed back to the house and noticed several tiny white bugs crawling on my arm. I assume these are mites or lice. I have used DE in the coop from day 1. Anyone use Poultry Protector natural spray to kill these bugs. Im thinking of dusting the birds with sevin dust. Any suggestions?

I was told Sevin might be a little harsh for younger birds so I used Poultry & Garden dust that I got at TSC, but that's just me. My birds got lice from broody momma and I treated them all with no problems. Hope that helps and maybe someone has a better solution
