Mites - elimination?

My vet found mites on my rooster’s vent.
I have some of the Elector PSP, but up to this point, I’ve been cleaning the coop weekly and dumping everything in the horse manure pile across the driveway from the coop.
Is this a losing battle?

Did the vet specify what type of mite?

Mites can be brought in by wild birds or other critters or infested bedding, but as long as you treat properly for the type of mite you have you should be able to eliminate the population that's there.
