Mites/mange or normal?

Some of my 7 week old chicks are starting to lose the feathers on their face, and they look pretty ghastly. Is this normal, or do I have some sort of issue going on here. There are 2 New Hampshires that are looking yuck, and I think one of my Delawares too?

There is another chick who looks worse than this, but she was being very camera shy.

Here's my mangy looking Delaware.

I didn't know if this was part of the whole feathering out process, or if there is some sort of mite infecting them.

Should I post over in the pest forum?

This looks completely normal to me. They go through an....."awkward" phase.

This guy looked pretty ghastly back then too.
