Mites on Momma. HELP! What do I do????

Okay. We have the Sevin-5 dust in the shed. Is that what you all are talking about? It says on the label it's harmful to animals....is it still okay to use on my hen?

I use the ivomec myself and have no problems with mites. I use it twice a year and knock on wood it has worked great for mites as well as worms. Only worm it doesnt kill is tapeworm if I remember correctly. Also a little will go a long way so it will treat many birdz.

Adams flea and tick spray rubbed in with a cotton ball. It will kill the mites and not hurt momma or the chicks. I lost my best broody hen because I realized too late that she had mites. Got them all off her that night with the spray and still lost her the next day because she was just to weak. Felt like a horrible owner to have missed them. DE did not work in even preventing them. Get the mites off her ASAP. I had to learn the hard way now I check everyone each week.
