My silkie is sitting on eggs due to hatch in 7 days. I just discovered she has a bad case of poultry mites!!! Her bedding had DE in it, but I guess that didn't help!

I was going to take her and the eggs out to change the bedding, then dust her with DE, but I'm afraid more mites will develop and get on the babies when they hatch. Can anyone help with a SAFE treatment that won't harm the developing eggs? THANKS!!!!

So the Sevin dust is ok to use around hatching eggs and baby chicks???? I am hesitant! Is there anything a little more natural? I have a natural powder called "Flea Busters"...I think it's a type of boric acid and it dried out the insect's ectoskeleton and they die. Has anyone ever tried that???

Any other suggestions on safe options would be MUCH appreciated!!!!!
