Mites or Lice, transfer to humans?

They might transfer, but they ain't gonna stay on your for long. Lice and mites are species specific. They cannot survive on any but their natural host.

Did you sprinkle the dust directly on the chickens??
This stuff is extremely toxic. How is it not toxic to chickens? Also, I am supposed to use a mask with a respirator? It says I should on the container.
I ordered some and am now afraid to sprinkle it anywhere. It also says not to treat the nest liter. I noticed you did and wanted to know how it worked for your chickens long term. Wouldn't it contaminate the eggs?
We are new to having chickens and dealing with the bugs that come along with their presence. Just want to know I am doing it correctly.
Any advise is appreciated. Thank you.
