Mites???

I cleaned out my coop today because of a respiratory infection in my hens. I found pin sized blackish colored bugs all over the coop. Could these be mites? I haven't check my hens yet because I already took a shower due to the fact that they were crawling on me even after being in the pool. Help!!!

Can you try posting a picture? Mites are really tiny, like specks of dust, but I've seen them swarm! There are tons of little bugs that can be found a coop, especially one that is moist or dirty. Make sure the hens have a dust bathing place to rid themselves of pests.
