Mites

I’ve had chickens for 4 years and have yet to deal with mites until now. Any tips to get rid of them?

Either a product containing permethrin, or the more expensive Elector PSP (spinosad), assuming you are in the US. You will need to treat the birds and clean out and treat the coop, at least 3 times a weekly intervals to get them all. The more expensive Elector is supposed to work with one treatment, I haven't used it due to the cost.
